Wake up in the morning, one eye opens. What does it mean to get out of bed, start the day?

As I look around and see challenges everywhere, global concerns that seem almost overwhelming, I am distinctly aware of inspiring forces too. I see people of all kinds actively helping in some way, working towards real change.

I want to be part of that. I need to be part of that. To know I am contributing, too - so I can greet each morning with enthusiasm.

I love and respect animals. My art reflects and celebrates our connection to all creatures, both wild and mild. I feel it is vital that we honor and protect them. After all, we share our lives and this earth together.
